Firstly, let me introduce the interior structure of the contra angle head.
Contra angle intra head should be composed of4 parts:cap,catridge,upper parts and driving shaft,shown as below picture (complete contra angle head parts)
Secondly, we list some normal problems that happened frequently when dental doctor meet them during dental treatments.
1.the bur was stuck and doesn’t work in operations.
Solution: Replace a new cartridge due to the shaft inside in normal wear
2.The doctor couldn’t use perfect water spray function to cooling down
Solution: Use pin to unchoke and clear up the sundries in the 2 holes on the head as some sundries choke on the exit of transporting tubes .
3.The bur couldn’t be chucked by the contra angle head.
Solution: Replace a new cartridge due to the chuck fixture is broken.
4.The cap is be out of order and couldn’t be rebound, isn’t access to chuck with bur.
Solution: To add gasket in cap and clear it up,or even replace a new cartridge as cap because cartridge was destroyed or being corrosion
5.The contra angle head get loudly beyond the testing normal noise standard of 70dB.
Solution: Replace new cartridge or driving shaft as the gap get bigger between them, they couldn’t in a good fitness .
The solution for all above problems is to replace some simple part of contra angle.
Thirdly,we will teach you how replace cartridge or drving shaft by yourself.
Step1. Use the specified spanner use open the contra angle cap. Here we can replace the cartridge directly.
Step2.Use the little screwdriver to open screw.
Step3.take out the driving shaft ,and replace the new one in the same place as before.
